Description

Vegan winter boot for children from Affenzahn with waterproof AffenTex membrane, warm lining of recycled polyester and thin, flexible rubber sole. The upper is made of regenerated ECONYL® nylon. Available in sizes 21-32.

• AffenTex membrane: The membrane keeps moisture out and lets sweat vapour escape. The shoes can be called waterproof, but we note that nothing other than wellington boots is 100% waterproof. Read our blog here on waterproofness for further information.
• Warm lining: 100% recycled polyester insulates effectively. It retains heat even at temperatures below 0 °C and maintains breathability.
• Thin, flexible sole: 5 mm blend of 70% synthetic rubber and 30% natural rubber without cushioning. Children can feel the ground, which supports balance.
• Quick lace lock: Elastic laces with lock secure the fit with a single pull. In sizes 21-24 the lace is shorter to fit smaller feet optimally. The lock keeps the lace in place throughout play.

Materials

• Upper: ECONYL® regenerated nylon and bluesign®-certified polyamide microfibre.
• Lining: 100% recycled polyester, reduces energy consumption by approx. 50%.
• Sole: 70% synthetic rubber, 30% natural rubber. Approx. 460 g per pair in size 30. Patterned tread.
• Membrane: AffenTex, repels moisture from outside and lets sweat vapour escape.
• Laces: Vegan, elastic with lace lock. No animal-derived components.

Care

Clean by hand with mild soap and a soft brush. Rinse off excess soap residue and leave the boots to air-dry away from direct heat. Impregnate before first use to maintain waterproofness.
