Waterproof and breathable
Thanks to the special AffenTex membrane, no moisture gets into the shoe from outside, so feet stay dry and warm even after jumping in puddles.
Simple fastening
On and off in no time. The hook-and-loop fastener holds the shoe firmly on the foot and opens and closes with ease.
Super lightweight
So light and comfortable it can feel like wearing no shoes at all.
Reflective
The shoes have reflectors that catch the light in the dark.
Thin, flexible sole
The sole of the Affenzahn transition shoes is only as thick as necessary. It is not cushioned, so children can feel and sense their surroundings and the ground.
Left-right distinction
A practical detail that stops shoes ending up on the wrong foot. Just check the animal puzzle on the back and slip the shoes on.
Slip-resistant
The honeycomb structure of the Affenzahn sole gives children's feet extra grip and leaves a distinctive pattern.
Room to grow
The natural shape of the shoe leaves enough room for each toe, so the feet are not constricted and can develop naturally.

Bluesign®
We use 52% bluesign®-certified polyester knit for the upper lining. We keep environmental impact to a minimum.

Recycled polyester
The recycled polyester in the lining saves around 50% energy and around 70% CO2 emissions, and reduces waste water by 20% compared with conventional polyester.

100% vegan
This shoe is made from 100% vegan materials.

Bloom™
The insole is made from 30% algae foam from BLOOM™, which has developed the world's first EVA foam with algae for the footwear industry.
