Materials

• Upper material with Terracare® cowhide and suede leather
• Lining material with 100% recycled polyester
• cold lining
• 100% waterproof Affentex membrane
• Sole 70% synthetic rubber and 30% natural rubber
• Bloom Foam ® insole

Functions

Waterproof and breathable

Thanks to the special AffenTex membrane no moisture from outside gets into the shoes and the feet stay dry and warm even after puddle jumping.

Enough space for growth

The natural shape of the shoes offers enough room for each toe, so that the feet are not constricted and can develop healthily.

Reflective

The shoes are equipped with reflectors that reflect the light in the dark.

Easy-peasy closure

The clever combination of an elastic strap and hook-and-loop fastener provides a perfect fit of the shoe on the foot. Easy to get on and off quickly.

Thin, flexible sole

The sole of the Affenzahn winter shoes is only as thick as necessary. It is not cushioned so that children can feel and perceive their surroundings and the surface.

Slip-resistant

The honeycomb structure of the Affenzahn sole offers extra grip and leaves a great motif in the snow. You will surely win every sled race with it, we promise!

Special materials & sustainability

Terracare®

We use Terracare® cowhide leather processed in Germany for our upper material.

Recycled polyester

The recycled polyester in the lining saves around 50% energy, around 70% CO2 emissions and reduces waste water by 20% compared to conventional polyester.

Bloom™

Our insole is made of 30% algae foam from BLOOM™, which has developed the world's first EVA foam with algae for the shoe industry.
