Bundgaard Rain – Black

Description

A short, lightweight black wellington boot for small children. The waterproof natural rubber shell keeps feet dry on rainy days. Soft wool lining and a removable insole retain warmth. The flat, flexible sole supports the foot’s natural movement.

• Waterproof shell: Natural rubber prevents rain and sleet from getting in. It withstands splashes from puddles. Each boot is tested for waterproofness.
• Wool lining and insole: Wool fleece lines the inside of the boot and traps warmth. The removable wool insole can be taken out for drying. It provides a soft layer against the cold ground.
• Flat, flexible sole: The thin rubber sole bends with the foot. There is no heel drop, to maintain a natural posture. It works as a barefoot shoe for winter play.
• Roomy fit: The wide toe box gives the toes room to spread. The narrow heel counter holds the foot in place. It fits average-width and slightly wide feet and has 10–12 mm of growing room.
• Chemical-free materials: Free from PVC, PFAS and other harmful substances. The rubber complies with the EU REACH regulation. No toxic additives.

Materials

• Shell: Natural rubber sourced from rubber trees. Cured without PVC or PFAS so it stays waterproof.
• Lining: Wool fleece insulates and counteracts moisture build-up. It retains warmth and readily wicks moisture away from the foot.
• Insole: A removable wool insole provides extra cushioning. It can be taken out after use to air-dry and make room as the foot grows.
• Sole: Flexible rubber sole with good grip. It follows the foot’s movements and ensures stability on slippery surfaces.

Care

Wipe the boots with a damp cloth after use. For heavy dirt, rinse them with mild soap under cold water. Let the lining air-dry at room temperature. Once it is dry, apply a neutral oil to the rubber to maintain its flexibility.
