Vivobarefoot Hydra ESC Mens – Obsidian/Safety Yellow

Description

Minimalist swimrun and trail shoe with a Michelin outsole and 4mm lugs, a quick-drying recycled polyester mesh upper and zero drop. Weighs 350g (size 42) and transitions from trail to water with a Bloom algae biomass insole and quicklace lacing.

• Michelin outsole: The Swimrun ESC outsole in durable rubber has 4mm multidirectional lugs. Provides grip on wet and dry ground and controlled braking on changing terrain.
• Quick-drying mesh: The recycled polyester (RPET) upper drains water quickly and keeps sediment out. Water-repellent materials prevent the shoe from absorbing water.
• Bloom insole: The insole is made from algae biomass as an alternative to synthetic EVA foam. Can be removed for more ground feel or replaced.
• Quicklace system: Speed lacing with a polycarbonate toggle allows easy adjustment with one hand. Laces in 100% RPET.
• Reinforced midsole: A 0.8mm Pro5 layer protects against sharp objects without reducing ground feel. The 2mm sole thickness maintains the thin profile.

Materials

• Upper: Recycled polyester mesh (100% RPET), bio-corn KPU/polyurethane overlay, knitted collar (75% RPET, 21% elastane, 4% nylon)
• Lining: Microfibre (40% polyester, 60% polyurethane)
• Outsole: Swimrun ESC Michelin (52% synthetic rubber, 48% additives), 4mm lugs
• Insole: Bloom foam (algae biomass), reinforcement in 100% RPET
• Laces: 100% RPET

Care
