Altra Escalante 5 Mens – Birch/Mountain Trail/Ancient Scroll

Description

Road running shoes for road and everyday use with zero drop and low stack height. The midsole in Altra EGO foam gives a responsive toe-off, the knitted upper is shaped around the foot, and the FootShape last gives the toes room without losing grip around the midfoot.

• Zero drop: No heel lift keeps the foot in a natural position. Load is distributed evenly from heel to forefoot.
• Low stack height: The sole is built low, keeping the foot close to the ground so it can move freely.
• Altra EGO midsole: The midsole is made of Altra EGO foam. It is responsive and cushions without making toe-off soft.
• FootShape last: The toe box is wide and gives the toes room to splay, while the midfoot is held firmly.
• Rubber outsole: The updated rubber outsole increases durability without making the shoe heavier.
• Knitted upper: The upper is knitted and shaped to the foot. Collar and front edge are redesigned for a classic look.
