Tobias Summer Sandal/slipper

Tobias Summer is a very soft, comfortable open slipper in quality leather! The thin, flexible rubber sole provides stability and is suitable for days of play – both at nursery and at home. Tobias Summer is comfortable to wear all day and allows air to reach the toes thanks to its sandal design. It is also easy to put on and take off – including for children who want to do it themselves.

It is made from soft, breathable leather materials and lined with vegetable-tanned leather. The sole is rubber, and the slipper is part of the ”Bundgaard Zero Heel” collection*.  

Recommended growing room: 10-12 mm.

PRODUCT INFORMATION:

• Fit: Wide.
• The 2 Velcro closures provide good adjustability.
• The Velcro closure allows the slipper to open fully, making it easy to put on and take off.
• The Velcro straps can be adjusted and shortened to fit each child's foot precisely.
• Narrow opening and heel counter for a precise fit on both narrower and wider feet.
• The leather makes the slipper extremely breathable and maintains a comfortable environment for the foot.
• The collar is padded to make it extra soft and comfortable to wear.
• Removable insoles
• Easy to check whether the size is correct (when buying and regularly during use)
• The insoles can be aired and dried
• Easy and quick to clean the inside of the slipper.
  • NOTE: young children curl their toes and cannot feel when the slipper is too small.

MATERIALS & CARE

• Material: Leather (breathable)
• Lining: Vegetable-tanned leather (breathable)
• Sole: Rubber (Zero Heel)
• Closure: Velcro (easy to put on and adjust)

CARE ADVICE:

• Always apply a water-repellent treatment to shoes before use (to prevent dirt, grease and liquids from penetrating the leather).
• Choose a water-repellent treatment carefully (we use ”Organic Protect & Care” from Collonil ourselves – the product contains mainly natural substances).

Leather is a natural material and each product is unique. After some time, the leather may look a little dry or worn and need some care.

Care during use:

• Wipe the shoe with a well-wrung damp cloth.
• Let the shoe dry.
• Then apply shoe cream or leather grease/balm.
• Let the shoe dry.
• Apply a water-repellent treatment.
• Repeat at regular intervals.

Bundgaard Zero Heel features thin, flexible soles that increase freedom of movement and provide good ground feel. The soles are flat with zero drop, meaning they are the same height at the front and back. The idea behind the Bundgaard Zero Heel collection is that the shoes are minimalist and should only protect the foot from the ground.
